What is there to see in Ludwigshafen/Mannheim?

And if you are still in school in Ludwigshafen when reading this, and if you are going on an exchange with students in ireland in the new year then tell me cos i might be living with you for a week

Mannheim has a robust shopping area and many off-site historical places to visit. Surrounding Mannheim, you will find Heidelberg (shoen Heidelberg), Schwetzingen with its intriguing palace, and many other beautiful cities. Ludwigshafen is mostly residential/industrial with very little to see, but beautiful none-the-less. These are a quick drive or hop on the bahn and scoot over to each. I used to live between Mannheim and Heidelberg and can tell you, it's like living on the side of a post card. Good luck and enjoy your stay.

there are lots of things to see in the surrounding areas...hop over to Heidelberg, its a beautiful historical town...loads of Irish Pubs by the way...Mannheim has the Luisenpark and the Planetarium to offer..I am not to sure about Ludwigshafen...not the most beautiful town in Germany...too much industry...I think the BASF site alone is as big a whole Ireland (joking) but its huge anyways. still going out in Ludwigshafen is good fun...many students...

Tanja wrote all the things what I want to tell you, too.
