Where can a 15 year old get a job during the summer (Sacramento,ca)?

Most 15 year olds get jobs with fast food places. You could also try the City of Sacramento. Websites to check would be http://www.craigslist.com and http://www.careerbuilder.com.

Visit the career counselor at your school. He or she may know of places that are hiring. If nothing turns up, you might consider starting your own housecleaning or lawn maintenance business to earn money.

Good luck!

mickey d's duh! or chick-fil-a

Places like Jamba Juice, Juice it Up, etc. will hire 15 year olds! It's a lot of fun working at a smoothie place, plus you wont smell like burgers all the time!

Defiantly something to think about! :)

My son was 15 last summer. He got a retail job, mainly because it was owned by a family that he knew from our neighborhood. His friends have had jobs at the State Fair (late summer only), ice cream stores, Starbucks and other retail stores. It helps to ask at a place where you might be recognized as a good customer...if not, then it helps to go in nicely dressed, polite and out going. The City pools have lifeguard training and once you pass that, you can be a lifeguard. The City's summer program "The Fourth R" is offered at many Sacramento schools and they need lots of new "rec" leaders in the summer.

I would take a look at a website such as

http://www.TeenJobSection.com

They have some jobs, and info on where to find them.
