Hotels in Old Town Sacramento California/?

I need suggestions for hotels within walking distance to Old Town and Rivercats baseball. We will be walking back from the Rivercats game at night so I would like a hotel that is in a safe area to walk to.

Motel 6. You can never go wrong with a classy hotel.

Try the Embassy Suites 100 Capital Mall.

At the foot of the Tower bridge. 5 minute walk to Raley Field, less than that to Old Sacramento.

Other choices would be the Holiday Inn, The Sheraton or the Hyatt Regency, all within in walking distance. The Sheraton, and Hyatt are both about 10-12 blocks away.

Based on your question, the Embassy Suites is your best bet.

Hi! There is Embassy Suites right at the Tower Bridge that seperates West Sacramento where the River Cats game is and Old Sacramento which is directly accross the street. Also there is the Holiday Inn off of 3rd and J Street. Take a look at the links below...hope this is helpful to you!

As previously stated, Embassy Suites is nice, Holiday is also and both are within safe walking distance. Bring a sweater, nights are cool, especially since we are on the rivers edge.
River Cats offer shuttle busses into downtown which would get you safely closer to other hotels. http://www.rivercats.com/raley/shuttle/
For walking safety, however, I would stay clear of any motels or hotels on Jibboom St. or Richards Blvd. Driving to these locations is best.
River Cats games are FUN !! Hope you have a good time.
