I recently moved to san francisco, what junior highs are in there?

what junior highs are there in san francisco?

San Francisco has Middle Schools, which are 6th-8th. The public Middle Schools tend to be large, some have 1000 students or more. A few are smaller. There are quite a few private, independent K-8 schools, and parochial K-8 schools.

If you would like your child to attend a public school you need to contact the SFUSD. They can be quite frustrating to deal with, so have a lot of patience. AP Giannini, Presidio, and Hoover are the top three, Aptos is ok.

Many of the private schools have waiting lists and application deadlines, which have already passed. The independent schools are about 18,000 a year, parochial schools are considerably less.

Good luck finding a school!
