Where can we see snow near san jose? |
would like my kids to see snow for the first time Mt. Hamilton would definitely be your best bet if you want to stay close to San Jose, &it can be a great experience also.. there's a huge telescope up there! Just search for it online and check for when it's opened. If you're willing to travel kind of far, I just got back from Sonoma [about a 3-4 hour drive] &it was great, TONS! of snow and it was beautiful! Mt Hamilton Lake Tahoe... lake, mountains, skiing.. can't beat it. Hwy 9/hwy 37 near los Gatos, mission peak in fremont, Mt Hamilton. do you want to see it or actually go to it Santa Cruz Mountains, and maybe Saratoga Hills. Or, maybe even Mountain View. |
