What are some nice places to travel to in Washington State?

I'm looking for some fun attractions and not just necessarily in Seattle.

Pike Place Market, the Zoo and/or aquarium, waterfront, Whibey Island, Blake Island, The Science Center, Ocean Shores, Discovery Park, Mt. Rainer, there are just tons of places to see. Have fun!!!

The Olympic National Park is cool, Ocean Shores, Port Townsend and Fort Warden, Olympia is fun, all the cliche Seattle Attractions, Eastern Washington is so different from Western Washington its kinda fun just to go see it.

I recommend traveling to Leavenworth. It's a little Bavarian village about 2 hours East of Seattle. If you are looking for more outdoorsy things to do, go to Snoqualmie Falls-- in my opinion, one of the most beautiful sights in Washington. If you have time, take a ferry over to the San Juan Islands. Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor (on San Juan) are both awesome touristy places to visit.

When are you coming? Different areas have different things to offer depending on the time of year. :-)

Believe me, there is nowhere worth going in eastern washington. You can take a ferry ride to one of the san juan islands or port townsend or any of the other nice places. Those all leave form seattle or close by suburbs. Don't bother going anywhere east of seattle.

Any of the national parks will probably be nice. Mt. Rainer, Mt. St. Helens, and the rain forest on the Olympic Peninsula.

Also, Leavenworth and snoqualmie falls listed in the previous answer are good places.
