What to do in Seattle?

I got a free ticket to go anywhere in the US (besides Hawaii). Been everywhere except the west coast. If I go west I must stay w/my cousin(24 yrs old) in Seattle, or I could go to San Diego with another cuz. What are some things that are a must-do in Seattle for a 20 yr old male? Is it worth using a free ticket on? (i have to go someplace where I can stay with a relative). Pros & cons? weather? budget? Also, are there some nature things to do outside the city?

If you like the outdoors, you will like Seattle. You can go skiing if you don't wait too long. Also, you could take a ferry ride to some of the San Juan Islands, or just across the Puget Sound. There are some nice towns to visit, and the ferry ride alone is sort of a tourist attraction. There is also lots of hiking trails, and other outdoor activities.

As for weather, unless you are coming in July -September, it will probably rain. But it doesn't rain hard, just drizzles off and on during the day. So just bring a jacket that is water proof or water repellent. And a hat.

Other then that, there is the typical tourist things: The Seattle Center, Downtown, and the Waterfront all have lots of things for tourists to do.

nthing

rains a lot there..watch the supersonics, big whoop.. visit the indian reservations and see their culture

we got space needle, emp(Experience music project...or something like that) and market. u want some good salmon we got it. weather is depends on the season. winter is mostly rain, but other then that it's refreashing air and exact temp. to do lots of out door stuff. we got the 1st starbucks shop and pike place market. it's like a flee market with lots of fishes and stuff. and thing about seattle is it's not such a dangerous place. so you can walk around the city without feel like someboyds gonna jump you.

seattle is so calm and pretty you could go down to the pier the space needle the emp , alki beach, science center theres a lot and plus the air in seattle is so good you can actually breath!
