Do you get food at Work?

It is so hard when your on a diet and people bring food to work. Like yesterday there was training. Afterwards there was left over borewors rolls. Of course I helped my self to one. Today is a ladies birthday, so we all get a slice of cake and a piece of tart. At least twice a week there is food. Last week it was scones, the week before finger snacks like sausage rolls and mini quiches. How on earth is a girl supposed to lose weight.
Do you also have a problem of food at the office?

More food again! A curry type stew..man I just cant say no!

Same problem here! I work for a small company. Every now and again the MD treats everybody and buys Cinnebuns in Menlyn (those things are divine!!).

And incidentally we also have a birthday today in the office. So cakes and mini sausage rolls all around...

(Diet? What diet?!)

I love my food...hmmmm!!!

We often have birthdays where we come for cake/pizza and a cafeteria downstairs that sells the best slaap chips for R8!!!

The MD had a birthday last month and I had three different types of cake and a milk tart.

Maybe I should come do some work there by you hey? I'll take care of your plate for you...

I have that problem. I'm short and every ounce of fat migrates to every inch of me when I eat so I put a picture of myself when I was a teen ager and at a decent weight on my desk and a saying that goes, "You wanta be like that not fat", on it to remind me that I'm a fat farm if I over do it. I will gain by looking at food.

I work for a club, so whenever there's b-day's etc, it happens at night...when I'm not here. So luckily I'm not forced to say "thank you" and take the cake and eat it.

Though the kitchen leaves me lunch in the fridge for during the day. They're very motherly and realised that I don't bring food with to work, so I don't eat. Leaving lunch was their solution to eating at least one cooked meal a day, because of my dodgy eating habits.
And no...I'm not stick thin.

yeah. it's really hard to turn them down. i have the same problem as my wife is asking me to loose some weight out of concern of for my health. i think what we should do is let it be known to as many people in the office that we are trying to loose weight. that way, at least, they wouldn't mind us declining them. the best of luck.

Just make sure that if its chocolate cake, that it doesnt get stuck in ya teeth, thats so annoying. Especially when its at work. :)
