Anybody live in Mumbles, nr. Swansea, South Wales?

I was born in the Swansea hospital and lived in Mumbles.
I have travelled the world but the area that has a permanent place in my heart is Mumbles, with its wonderful beaches. I am now 76 years of age and my mother's name was Cronin.

Hi Maureen , i live about 4 miles away and visit the Mumbles regularly.It`s changed quite a bit over the years especially since the railway has gone,1960 i beleive. What an attraction that would be now !!

I don't live there but I've been there and yes it is very beautiful. First National Park in the UK I think.

i live in pembrokeshire, about an hour away!!

My late brother lived at Killay for thirty years,my family holidayed every year when I was a teen in the early sixties Llanmadoc Rhossili area of Gower they were favourites and I still visit Mumbles often
Quite funny but I have a friend who was born Scotland but now lives in South Wales her married name is Cronin not sure where her husband is from.
I wish you well, and think no matter where you are you will always be Welsh.

I remember visiting Mumbles years ago and thought how pretty it was and idyllic.
