When is the rail link between epping - chatswood NSW SYDNEY opening?

i know theyve nearly completed it but does anyone know the actual date or month when theyre gonna cut the red ribbon and let people use it?

btw if you dont know what it is: its a train line from epping to chatswood, passing through macquarie and north ryde in SYDNEY AUSTRALIA.
if you know the close date, please tell me.
i need to know.

I have just checked out City rail's web-site and they don't give an exact date. It just says open 2008.

Just a guess.

i heard that it is due to open late this year.
there is a station at macquarie center/uni and another one further along at macquarie park

its supposed to open late 2008 but CityRail are 10 years behind everyone else so you should be able to travel on it in say, 2015. :-)
