I want to move to Sydney when i finish training to be science teacher in Ireland, is it a nice city??

Is the weather ok,, i like it hot thats why i'm getting away from this bloody country! Whats the best area to live in on a teachers salary? want to be near a beach! Somewhere near palm beach maybe, but with much lower rental prices! Thanks!

Yes but Palm Beach is definately NOT cheap as it is part of the Northern Beaches/Suburbs which is rather expensive. In fact any of the beah suburbs are. The most expensive suburbs are the North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, North Suburbs, Southern Sydney, and the Inner West. The further out you go the cheaper it gets. Its not particularly hot at the moment even though it is summer. I blame La Nina who brought all this rain!

Yes, Sydney is a nice city, although some of the suburbs out west and down south are rather grungy and leave a lot to be desired.
