The question should be: What was the first capital of Trinidad and Tobago? |
While all yuh at it where was the first airport in Trinidad? St. Joseph was the first capital..Piarco was opened on january 8th 1931.. Prior to this, the Queen's Park Savannah, the Mucarapo Field, and the Cocorite Docks (for flying boats) were used as airstrips to serve the island St Joseph was the first capitol and airport was built for seaplanes in Chaguaramas...... There was also a landing strip built by the Americans in Wallerfield Since the answer has already been given, all I want to add is....Doc how yuh looking handsome so?? ;-) frigg is ah boss !! |

Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago is the event of the year. It is said that if the islanders are not celebrating it then they are preparing for it while reminiscing about the past year's festiva... Dais not true gyul... de new culture minister saying how carnival belong on de road... nothing like dat at all nah! ...Actually Tatyana Ali is the one with Trini roots. Her father was born here. "Carlton" was seen a few years ago during Carnival here, that is as close as he gets to be a Trini LOL ...an you still spend plenty money dey... Tobago man not doing that eh... Lemme jus share ah reall personal story. It wasn't Valentine's day but is a story anyway...
