Someone keeps following me and reporting my Q&A, what do they gain? I am really wondering?

Sorry to hear that. She thinks she's getting at you. The worst punishment you can give a troll is to ignore her.

We already know that you give educated and reasonable, i.e. respectful answers. And we already know that some trolls donot get the violation notices they should be getting.

Just keep on being yourself.

PS. The pronoun "she" is chosen randomly and doesn't imply anything about the reporting troll.

Joke aside, go and do a "winter cleaning" in your contacts and fans. If somebody is reporting your answers in random sections, she might be a fan so she is follow you.

Other option is you made some enemies from the "you-know-who"s :)

Someone doesn't like me either (prolly hate me for some unknown reasons) lol I have no clue who she /he is that keep reporting me and givin' me TD's for nothing....do I care? nope he/she whoever it's on the right track "keep going" just like energizer bunny :)

I report the 'police officer with clients' and his alter egos all the time because this guy is breaking the law. And he tries to connect me what I refuse of course. In some cases I block the user before I even 'answer' the question.

Don't worry it happens all the time that's why there are so many trolls around. YA creates trolls by not enforcing their own guidelines terms and conditions.

Well, if you excuse my language, I believe they get a sort of sexual satisfaction (probably they don't get it in real life). Didn't you know that Napoleon and Hitler were sexually inadequate! They went out killing people to prove their might lol.
Don't worry about them my dear friend. I get reported often for nothing. It just shows that you are on the right path. Keep your head up and keep smiling.

Dear dejavu, don't bother yourself with it. I think periodically a wave of *report mania* takes over "it"(*) and that thing starts reporting everyone. I occasionally get violation notices one after another with no apparent reason whatsoever.

If you have a similar problem with your other questions, check your fans and make sure you've blocked every potential maniac who may report your questions by simply clicking on the "questions" tab in your profile.

The last time I got a violation notice email was at least six months ago.

If your Q&As are removed in " error ", then you should email Yahoo Customer Care. You will probably not get a real reply, but that user will lose influence. And also, you should report questions violating the Community Guidelines so that you can gain influence in the community. As a result, your Q&As will not be removed so easily.

I've been reporting your Q&A, saying "look how great this is!" and "isn't this clever" and "she deserves a raise!" but I guess my efforts have backfired. :P

Seriously, they gain only more acrimony, which they seem to like.

hey sweet, ditch all your contacts for a while and see if that puts a stop to it. when you open them up again just mail the ones you can trust. I know it's a pain but it has stopped some of my former contacts from being deleted. Also appeal each violation. its at times like this I wish we had shotguns to shoot the flaming trolls up their hairy backsides
