What would be a good gift to bring to a girlfriend in Venezuela from the U.S.?

Typically I would bring a gal in the U.S., flowers, a bottle of wine, a CD, jewelry, an MP3 player, or items of clothing or intimate apparal if we were close. But I have learned from other international travel, that there is a large difference between domestic and foreign markets. Digital cameras in Europe can cost 3 times what the same item costs in the U.S. In China, pearls cost a mere fraction of their price in the U.S. Lether goods are also cheaper elsewhere. Eastern Europe was crazy for Levi's when I was young, but I don't know if that still holds true.

So What would be a welcome treat for a 25 y/o Venezuelan babe? (I've heard that makeup is a good bet, but that feels wrong)

Chapstick costs about 5X what it costs in the US. Victorias Secrets stuff is NOT avail in Venezuela. Any hand cream, body spray etc is also hard to find at a good price. Also perfume is very expensive. US booze costs a lot too.. Any of those.. And if shes 25 and youre in your 40s.. hold very tightly to your wallet..
