Vienna airport transfer with luggage? |
START:Vienna airport OK, here's my advice. Don't take the CAT, it cost's half an arm and a quarter of a leg and really provides no additional value over the S-Bahn. If you stay in Vienna for more than a day, get a multiple-day ticket right at the Airport's train station (the vending machines can be switched to English). There are several "zones" in the Vienna public transport system, the core one (zone 100) covers all of Vienna, and is the only one tourists usually need. If you buy a ticket for this zone, you only need one additional zone to/from the airport (costs EUR 1,50 each way.) S bahn or CAT to Wien Mitte then on to the U3 (I think) the maps are easy to follow!! Don't worry...u will be fine!! |
