Is it a good time to go to Vienna after X'mas for two week ? How bad is the weather and what to see or do ?

Generally the weather after Xmas is not bad, but it's quite cold (around 0 degrees celsius) and it may be slippery because of the ice. But if you want to go to Austria in winter it's the best time.
You should also visit some other places in Austria such as Salzburg (~300km) and Innsbruck (~500km) in the mountains. They are beautiful in this time.

It is good time, but be careful in Europe is always snowing during that time.
The weather is good and bad:It is usually cold.

Usually it's quite cold (around 0 掳 Celsius or less), snowy and wet. Vienna is beautiful any time of the year, after Christmas too. You can always see the very impressive buildings, the markets and the Old Town. What would you like to do in Vienna? Sightseeing, going to the opera, visiting a typical Viennese pub... Check out the activities offered on http://info.wien.at/article.asp?IDArticl...
There are a lot of other extremely interesting cities or town in Austria - you might not want to stay in Vienna all the time...
Have fun and enjoy!

Any time of year is a good time to go to Vienna! The weather will be very, very cold - take plenty of layers of clothes! One advantage is that you are very unlikely to get rained on, and snow never seems as bad! Actually getting around the city by public transport is a piece of cake, with plenty of buses, trams and an underground. If you are going for two weeks you can see a lot more of the country than just Vienna, it's the most beautiful country in the world, especially in winter and the food is just fabulous. Take a trip to Soos, just south of Vienna and visit a hueriger, much better value than the expensive tourist places recommended in the guide books. Go to one of the spa resorts and pamper yourself. Go skiing in some of the best resorts in the world. If it's a sunny day, go for a cruise on the Danube. Hire a car a take a trip to the Czech Republic, Hungary or Slovakia. These are so close that you can even take day trips there. Enjoy!
