Maryland living?

I'm going to be 18 in the summer and want to move to Maryland, Baltimore.

The thing is obviously I'm not going to be made out of money. I'm planning on trying to find some other guys that I can apartment up with so that we can split the costs of living :P

Does anyone know any type of sites or something that I can look into this BEFORE I move?

I'd hate to get there and not find a place and then just run out of money trying to get around and find places.

I'd prefer not to live inside the city. Or in a heavy crime area.

try craigs list (http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites.ht... or http://www.roommates.com/
Just so u know, ,the cost of living is high around the suburbs around this area.

Baltimore is a city of tight neighborhoods. There are areas based on ethnic and religious backgrounds. There are a few very dangerous neighborhoods but so many others where very little crime occurs. Best hospitals and universities in the world. Major league sports, excellent airports, restaurants, night life. Cost of living less than DC or Phila but many choices. All the young people flock to Inner Harbor and Haines Point at night, among other places. Craigslist is a fine place to start looking for shared housing, so are these two sites:

Baltimore is a very dangerous city. My brother in law's girl friend just had her house broken into about a month ago. Maryland itself has a tremendous amount of crime. I've lived im MD my entire life which I plan to change in about a year. Think carefully before moving to MD and if you do choose to be very very carefully about were your going to live especially in Baltimore.

try i love city life baltimore is nice place to live we have gerat mass transit. i've lived here all my life
