Air and Space Museum? |
I'm a New Yorker who's heading to DC for spring break. I have a general knowledge of the DC area but I don't remember everything about it. I'm planning on visiting the zoo earlier in the day and then heading to the mall. I'm trying to decide whether to stop by the Air and Space Museum. I only have a limited amount of time. Are the exhibits good? And since I have a crappy Samsung camera that can only take pictures in good lighting I was wondering if the exhibits are well lit? The exhibits are fairly well sit, but are so large that it doesn't even matter. Parts have better lighting than others. Correction on tne BA. The large aircraft mentioned are out at the Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles and not on the Mall. The Enola Gay ,The Concorde and the Dash-80 that Tex Johston did 2 barrel rolls with are parked nose to nose to nose Report It The imax show in the museum its very cool Definetly visit the Air & Space Museum. The Apollo 11 CM Columbia greets you as you walk in the door and the exhibits stay great from there on. The Air and Space Museum is at the mall. Take the time, it's worth it. Air and Space museum is awesome. I spent hours there and took some pictures |
