I would love to live and work in Switzerland. Anyone know what I need to do to achieve this? You need to apply for a work permit A. You will only be allowed to work in the country for small periods of time at first until you qualify for a permit B. When you reach a permit C you become a permanent resident. At a guess, I would say you need to move to Switzerland and find employment. I'm not sure, but it made me think, Cheers u would need to learn german and french-- and their dialect which is kinda a combination All I could find was this, hope it helps you (cold country) I think switzerland is tough of migration laws. your work would have to be something that is in deep demand at the moment, but sseeing how switzerland hasnt much industry, it seems unlikely that there is such a demand. Schooling in switzerland is a possibility, but you want work. so.... haha 2 points Learn a trade that wil be usefull when you get there. Gunsmith, chocolate maker or cuckoo clock salesman would all be good. It is the most boring place in the world. Go somewhere more exciting. London, New York, Dublin or Moscow. Do NOT go to a country that's filled with a load of bankers. Hi, a job and a house you will need a job first, so you will be able to apply for a visa. it will be very helpfull, if you know some german or french, depending where you're going. google around to find some open jobs, and places to learn german!!! Hey, good luck and let me tell you, switzerland is NOT boring!!! It is a great place!!! Being from Switzerland and a diplomats daughter, the first thing I would suggest is to visit your nearest general consulate or the embassy of switzerland in DC,(i don't know where you live) but if it's outside the US.... look into the nearest Embassy. Talk to someone there or.... check out this site! |
