Do i need visa for switzerland for three days trip? |
just as a tourist,i am having uk studen visa...... Yes, you need a visa even for three days trip unless you hold a passport that is an american, european, or other passports that they exempt from obtaining visas in coming here. Try to call your local swiss ambassy about it for more informations since I dont know what passport you are holding. Student visa will just allow you to stroll around the country I guess.... You need if you are not a European I'm not positive, but I think you would have to have a tourist visa. If you are EU you need no visa to travel anywhere! If you are an American you do not need a visa to go to EU! No, just a us passport will do for just 3 days. Holders of American, U.K, E.U and Commonwealth countries never needed visas to go to Switzerland. To be sure of new and changing requirements, put in Swiss Travel requirements on your Yahoo Search Engine. They will give you countries that are visa-free. As a student, depending on your country of origin, as long as you have proper documentation and letters from your University, you might be able to obtain a student visitor's pass at the airport. For the trains, I would suggest you get properly documented before you arrive. The border guards at the entry points for trains are strict. People having work permit in UK from any country need not have a visa for Switzerland . thats for sure . For student visa its better u once check with the embassy before taking any decision as its better to b careful with these VISA formalities. It keeps changing also . |
