How do i get from the airport in zurich, switzerland to venice, italy?

is there good pubic transportation between these two cities? we fly into zurich on 8 dec and depart zurich 11 dec...thanks for your help...marie g

I assume you mean train and not a flight(?)... Swiss Rail's information, timetables, and booking website is http://www.sbb.ch/en -- looks like you might have to break the trip at Lugano, then onward with Italian Rail, http://www.trenitalia.it

Well your time wasn't shown so I have to make the guess you could leave at 09:09 AM? You would have to go to Z眉rich HB (main station) and then take the EuroCity from platform 4, (On this train, Reservation is complusory, so go to the train station when you arrive to book tickets,) arrival time in Venezia S. Maria is 17:09 (05:09 PM)

There is a train station right underneath the Zurich airport. Take
the train to the main train station (Zurich HB) , trains leave about
every 10 minutes. Then go to the tourist bureau office in the
main train station (they speak English and are SOOOO helpful!)
They will take care of it for you. Be sure to be extremely polite
and thank them a lot. Have a great time! It's
fabulous!
