What are some fun things to do in Zurich, Switzerland? |
I am an American living in Zurich, Switzerland. My Wife complains that we never "do anything fun". Ironically, she has lived here her whole life, I have lived here for two years. So, she should really know what there is to do. Hi, thanks for the answers. I should have specified that the really challenging part of the question is: I'm looking for fun things to do IN Zurich. My Wife is Swiss, so she has been everywhere and done every day trip. She goes to school and works, so I'm looking for things to do in the city. I myself have been here for a while, and done all the day trips as well. I'm looking for some "Hidden Treasure" in the city. Maybe a really cool museum that is not so well known, a cool place to hear music. Something different. I'm pretty set on the day trips. Nice, but been there. Something IN THE CITY OF ZURICH! - Thanks! You should come to Toastmasters. There's a Humorous Speech contest next Saturday at the Blue Monkey, as well as 3 English, 2 German and a French club that each meet every two weeks. Zurich is a cool place. Lots of fun things to do here. But it really depends on the weather. If the weather is good, I would suggest taking day trips, lots of them. Use the trains. If you dont have a half-price abonament, buy it. They are only Sfr 150 and will reduce the fares of both the trains and the trams. |
