What are the driving conditions in the Chur-Davos route late in January like?

I'm going there next week and am considering renting a car for my daily commute to and from Davos.

It depends. Ask for chains with your rental car - you may need them closer to Davos. Normally the autobahn (highway) is clear - the Swiss remove the snow quickly. Often you will find no snow in the lowlands, but quite a bit in the mountains. Have fun.

Varies years to years. Maybe snow and maybe nothing. check the weather forecast.
