Hotels/Shops in Zurich?

Hello, I have heard that there are some really good 'sales' in Zurich in Switzerland during January, and I want to take off there for the weekend and spend some cash! I have never been there before and I was hoping someone would be able to point me in the right direction! (i.e towards the good shops!) any places where there they have great restaurants and 5* hotels?!!

Zurich is a terrific, lively city - you'll have a blast. What's even better, is the rate of exchange is currently far more favorable with the Swiss Franc than with the Euro.
